Biographical InformationDr. Parkinson serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Director of Clinics at the ECU School of Dental Medicine. He earned a DDS from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry (UMKC) and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program, also at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr. Parkinson also completed a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) through the Academy of General Dentistry. He earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. He was in private practice in Gladstone, Missouri, before joining the faculty full-time at UMKC School of Dentistry. Dr. Parkinson was previously at the University of Kentucky, where he was the Assistant Dean for Pre-doctoral Clinical Operations and assistant professor, overseeing the daily operations of the pre-doctoral clinic.
