Communicate from Any Location, Any Device

Now, more than ever, it's easier to configure Internet-capable devices to access and manage your ECU email.

Configure a Device

ActiveSync - Sync multiple mobile devices to an Exchange email account.

Android mobile - See the instructions below.

IMAP - Allows one email account to be accessed and managed from more than one device.*

iPad Instructions - Configure your iPad

iPhone/iPod Touch

Mac - ITCS supports both Outlook 2011 and Apple Mail (X.6)

Configure Outlook 2011 (Mac)

Configure Apple Mail (X.6) (Mac)

MAPI - The preferred setup between your home Windows Outlook and an Exchange server.

Piratemail: Access email through a Web browser: http://piratemail.ecu.edu.

*Smartphones set up with IMAP or Exchange accounts sometimes stop sending/receiving mail after a software update, even if the email settings have not changed. In most cases, the best way to fix this is to remove the account from your phone and set it back up from scratch as an Exchange account. This applies to both Android and iOS devices.

If you are having problems configuring your mobile device for email, contact the IT Help Desk or visit the walk-in IT Help desk.
