Students and faculty in the College of Engineering and Technology, Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, Brody School of Medicine and the College of Education collaborated to host the annual event.
At the end of July 2014, at least one East Carolina University senior will be working full time in the Research Triangle area for Cisco, an international networking company. Anthony Peterson Jr., a Sampson County native and first generation college student, is expected to graduate magna cum laude May 9 with a bachelor’s degree in information and computer technology.
Welcome to the NSA/DHS National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance/Cyber Defense at East Carolina University(ECU)!Our center is housed in the Department of Technology Systems (TSYS)--one of four departments in the College of Engineering and Technology at ECU. Through its programs in Information and Computer Technology and Network Technology, TSYS offers undergraduate and graduate programs with a focus on information security. Our dynamic faculty, state-of-art laboratories, and partnerships with business & industry help us prepare our graduates with technical and professional skills needed to design, deploy, manage, and apply techniques of securing and protecting the integrity and availability of information systems and communication networks in governmental, private, and non-profit organizations.
